Tuesday, February 24, 2026
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
2787 El Camino, Houston, TX 77054
This nationally recognized documentary, recently featured on Independent Lens, explores the life and legacy of Barbara Jordan — one of the most principled and influential voices in American political history.
Jordan’s leadership during the Watergate hearings remains a defining example of constitutional clarity, moral courage, and unwavering commitment to democratic accountability. The Inquisitor reflects on her impact and the continued relevance of her voice in today’s civic landscape.
Community Conversation to Follow
The evening will include a guided discussion featuring:
Dr. Toniesha L. Taylor, Director, Center for Africana Futures, Texas Southern University
Dr. Carla Brailey, Texas Southern University
Together, we will reflect on Jordan’s legacy and consider how her example continues to shape conversations about public service, democracy, and principled leadership.
