This special screening honors the life and legacy of Congresswoman Barbara Jordan, a Houston native and TSU icon whose voice for justice and democracy continues to resonate across generations.

Following the film, guests will enjoy a reception with the filmmakers and executive producers—an intimate gathering for conversation, networking, and celebration.

Hosted in collaboration with a distinguished Host Committee of community leaders, alumni, and advocates for Barbara Jordan’s enduring legacy, this event raises vital funds to support the film’s national impact campaign and Oscar-qualifying theatrical run.
